Show Taxpayers Strongly Urged to Use Provided Tax Forms Income Tax forms and instructions instruc-tions will be mailed to individual individ-ual taxpayers during the period Dec. 26 to Jan. 15. According to Charles I. Fox, district director of ternal Revenue Service, these forms constitute the actual forms and instructions to be used by taxpayers in filing their 1954 income in-come tax returns. Taxpayers are asked to utilize these particular forms and avoid the wasteful and costly practice of leaving them at home and securing additional ad-ditional forms from the local office of-fice of Internal Revenue Service for filing. Mr. Fox states that the Internal Revenue Service Is seriously attempting at-tempting to economize in all phases of its operations including in-cluding taxpayer assistance. Taxpayers Tax-payers are, therefore, urged to read thoroughly the instructions mailed to them and prepare as much of their tax returns as possible pos-sible before seeking personal assistance as-sistance from the local office of This will save the individuals the Internal Revenue Service, considerable time and allow more individuals to share the limited taxpayer assistance service ser-vice available. As a word of caution, Mr. Fox advises taxpayers to file their returns as soon as possible after af-ter Jan. 1 and to make sure that all their withholding statements (Form W-2) are securely fastened fas-tened to their Income tax returns. re-turns.
