Show Kiwani-flnns Plan Fashion Show Entertainment The opening party and membership mem-bership meeting of the Cedar City Kiwani-Anns will be held this evening, Thursday, at the L D S Institute in the form of a home sewn fashion show. Theme for the evening will be "School Days." In charge of arrangements for the opening social of the year for the auxiliary organization will be the recently elected officers with Mrs. McRay Cloward as president in charge. Fall fashions for all the family will be modeled during the evening eve-ning as the feature of the program, pro-gram, with all the items to be home sewn. Children of Kiwanis members will model the younger set attire, while a group of campus cam-pus coeds from the Cedar City high school and College of Southern South-ern Utah will be on hand to do some top modeling for the young ladies. Other program numbers will include musical numbers from the C S U trio composed of Re-nee Re-nee Halversen, LaRae Stapley, and Yvonne Fife. A piano solo will be played by Miss Helen Harris and a tap dance number will be given by Sheiol Me-Arthur. Me-Arthur. Junior Miss Models will include in-clude Kaye Clothier, Renee Halversen, Hal-versen, Marily Halversen, Vickie Taylor. Laura Lee Crosby, Ra-Nae Ra-Nae Gentry, Barbara Lunt, Betsy Lunt, Joan Lunt, and R. L. Mer-ryvveather. Mer-ryvveather. Officers and board members of the organization assisting in the arrangements include Mrs. Frank Milne, vice president; Mrs. Frank Petty, secretary; Mrs. V. O. Stratton, Mrs. Theroi McAr-thur, McAr-thur, Mrs. Max Robinson, Mrs. Floyd Atkin and Mrs. Robert Heyborne as board members. |
