Show Applicants Solicited For 1954 Agriculture Census Applications for employment as enumerators for the 1954 Census of Agriculture in Iron and Garfield Gar-field Counties will he accepted beginning October 11. it was announced an-nounced today by FieRl Supervisor Super-visor Mr. Quayle Cannon, Jr. Tersons interested should notify no-tify Mr. Reed S. Seaman at 151 So. '00 West, Cedar City, who is serving as crew leader for this area. Application forms can be obtained also from the agriculture agricul-ture census field office at 1750 So. Redwood Road, Salt Lake City. Applicants for enumerators jobs must be citizens of the United Unit-ed States, have a high school education ed-ucation or furnish evidence of comparable experience, be in I good physical health and of ex- cellent character and be between the ages of 18 to 65. They must have sufficient financial resources resour-ces to sustain themselves for approximately ap-proximately four or five weeks from the date of appointment until they receive their first salary sal-ary check. Applicants with veteran vet-eran preference who meet all requirements re-quirements w ill be given priority. Enumerator job applicants must be licensed to operate and must provide a privately owned automobile auto-mobile in good condition. Pay rates will provide for the cost of operating cars on official Census business. |
