Show ti i- i 1 A ATHLETIC NOTES f This is Something Like an Association The Cornell Athletic Association composed of representatives from the trustees faculty and student athletic organization was incorporated in June 1889 A standing committee on athletics athletics athletics ics including the faculty members of the association has also been appointed It is hoped that th the operation co-operation of the various interests and the existence of ofa a permanent organization may tend to produce a greater greater- steadiness in the managements of athletics and permit of some continuity of athletic methods and traditions v I There are whispers of another Kirmess Kirmess Kirmess Kir- Kir mess or social in the air to be given by the Athletic c Association about the thelast thelast thelast last of this month Such a thing deserves the will good-will of every student in the University to make it ita a success and if it is given we want all the students students students stu stu- dents to turn out whether they belong to the Athletic Association or not If everybody attends it will add one more laurel to the success of the University |
