BELIEF TO THE NAVAJOS The response that people of Utah have given to the call for food and clothing for the Navajo Indians is very commendable. However, we are wondering if It will do much good. The Indians will be flooded with these items and as a result a lot of waste will result, and in any event the relief will only be temporary. tempor-ary. The best thing that has come out of this sudden and surprising interest in-terest in the welfare of our Indians, is that it seems to have at long last awakened our government officials to the fact that some means should be provided for the Indian to make a better living for himself.
