Show Three Tournaments Feature This Week's Recreation Program Three tournaments for the childrer of Cedar City will be conducted by the City Recreation Department at the City parlc Friday afternoon. July 18. The contests will begin promptly at 3:00 p. ni. Awards will be given to ttie six best jack players, six best hopscotch Jumpers and the six best horseshoe pitchers. The dally schedule of recreation activities for the week of July 20th to 26th, acordlng to Recreation Supervisor Sup-ervisor Byrne Fernellus, will be as follows: Tap dancing from 10 to 11 a. m. In the high school gym. Games of low organization and story telling tell-ing In the City Park from 10 a. m. to noon. From 2:00 to 3:30 p. m p. m. archery for all ages and volley ball for those who do not care to participate In archery. At the same time sewing, clay modeling und cope saw training will be given. The new handicraft feuture for the week will be working with paper mnche.
