Show Police Run Down Clues on Two Sunday Burglaries Two burglaries were committed in Cedar City sometime early Sunday mornincr. and local nollce officers have been busy the past few days running down clews In an attempt to solve the crimes. To date no arrests have teen made, but officers have at least three suspects under investigation. investiga-tion. The Sunset Tavern was broken into and considerable damage done. The thieves gained entrance en-trance by breaking out a window it is understood. Most of the loss was suffered bv D and W Corry company who had a juke box and a number of punch boards In the tavern. The thieves walked off with a number of watches from the punch boards, and also broke into the coin boxes box-es of the music machine. About the only loss that Albert Biederman, operator of the tavern tav-ern suffered was a ham stolen from the kitchen and a small amount of change from the till. The service station operated by LaVon "Sid" Porter was also broken into, thieve3 gaining entrance en-trance through a window. Three cases of oil and a small radio was stolen from the station. |
