Show J Queens Are Honored AtM.I.A. Gold and Green Ball The crowning and parading of the seven Queens, representing the six wards and the Institute, h.ghlighted the activities of the annual Gold and Green Ball, held Friday evening in the B A C gymnasium. Capacity crowds attended both the ball Friday and the ball held Saturday evening for the younger young-er set. The parading and the crowning of the queens was conducted con-ducted both evenings. Queens and their attendants were: College ward, Wilma Sigurd, Sig-urd, queen; Joyce Terry and Car-ollne Car-ollne Pace, attendants. First ward, Beverly Brunson, queen; Dixie Brunson and Mickey Mor-till, Mor-till, attendants. Second ward, Marilyn Macfarlane, queen; La-Kay La-Kay Matheson and Ann Ashcroft, Attendants. Third ward, Dianne Tueller, queen, Vyonne Manning and Helen Mumford, attendants. Fourth ward, Drexel Haslam, queen; Margaret Greaves and Mildred Sargent, attendants. Fifth ward, Jo Ann Melling, queen. Rita Ann Smith and Cora Pucell, attendants. L. D. S. Institute, Insti-tute, Marva Stewart, queen; Ray-da Ray-da Bishop and NaDean Oldroyd, attendants. The floor show Friday night was under the direction of Mrs. LaVeve Whetten, while Luana Riddle and Donna Brown were in charge of Saturday night's entertainment. en-tertainment. Decorations centered center-ed on the MIA theme for the year and were handled by the Third ward. Refreshments were under the charge of the Fourth ward.
