OCR Text	Show Kanab High Coach Applies for BAC Grid Position We understand that David Gates, who has been football and track coach at the Kanab high school for the past five years, has applied for the position of football coach at the Branch Agricultural Ag-ricultural college. At present the position is vacant as the result of the resignation of Murray Maughan. Mr. Gates is a native of Los Angeles, Calif. He is a graduate of Occidental Occiden-tal college in California, and has done graduate work at Pomona college in California and at Arizona Ari-zona State college. He has been active in school and community affairs since coming to Kanab and at the present time is president presi-dent of the Kane county Teachers Teach-ers Association.
