Show Schedule Announced For X-Ray Unit in Iron County The state mobile X-ray unit began operations today in Iron county, and will he in Cedar City to give free chest X-rays beginning Monday, Feb. 19, according ac-cording to Mrs. Darwin Nelson, chairman ot the Iron County Tuberculosis Tu-berculosis and Health committee. Resident of Iron county are being be-ing urged to take advantage of this wonderful opportunity for a free examination, with the cost being borne by the local TB ;ind Health Association. The mobile unit will be in the armory building while in Cedar City, and the public is being reminded re-minded that it is only a matter of minutes to take the exam. Exams given in Cedar City will be for residents of Cedar City, Enoch, Newcastle, Kanarra, Mid-valley Mid-valley and New Harmony. Residents Resi-dents of Beryl will have their exams at Enterprise when the unit is there. Today and Friday, the unit is in Parowan for the residents of that city, Paragonah and Summit. Sum-mit. On Fe b. 19, while in Cedar City, students, teachers and personnel of the ninth grade through high school will be X-rayed. Tuesday, Feb. 20, the exams will be for students, instructors and personnel person-nel of the Branch Agricultural college. The remaining days, Feb. 21 through 23, will be for l6 public beginning at 9 a. m. each day. Only persons above 15 will be examined. Following the exams, the X-ray X-ray films are sent to the Utah State sanitorium for reading and the results are sent back to the family physician. |
