Show Retiring Officers Feted by Members at Banquet Outgoing officers of the Cedar City Ladies of Elks were honored hon-ored this past week at a banquet ban-quet in the Elks lodge rooms, wfiere 62 members of the ladies organization gathered for the affair. af-fair. Lovely gifts were presented to the retiring officers, and a short program was presented. Heard on the program were vocal solos by Norma Edwards and Barlow White. Dancing solos were given by Jackie Winterrose and Pat Thompson and a reading by Jerry Jer-ry Sherratt. Toast-mistresswa Mrs. Antone Cox. Outgoing officers of the Ladies of Elks are: Mrs. Lawrence Lowder, Low-der, president; Mrs. H. T. Stephens, Steph-ens, vice president; Mrs. Warren Bulloch, secretary; Mrs. Karl Boyns, chaplain; Mrs. Francis Frye, reporter Mrs. M. F. Burgess, Bur-gess, historian; Mrs. Royce Knight, sickness and distress, and Mrs. John McKnight,, Mrs. Harold Adams, Mrs. Barney Gorman, Gor-man, Mrs. Ted Nelson and Mrs. Roy Houchen, executive committee. |
