'1 1 m MARIAN ANDERSON A farewe 1 testimonial on Sunday, Sun-day, Feb. 5, at 8 p. m. in the Cedar First ward will honor Miss Marian Anderson of Cedar. City, who will enter the L D S mission home in Salt Lake City on March 19. Miss Anderson, secretary of the First ward Sunday School and active in church affairs, has been called to serve an 18-month mission mis-sion for the L D S church in the California mission. She is a graduate of the Cedar City high school and has been employed by the Cedar public library. She is the daughter of Mrs. R. E. Anderson. The testimonial program includes in-cludes remarks by Parson U. Webster, Scott Speakman and Bishop H. P. Dotson. with a response re-sponse by Miss Anderson. Invocation Invo-cation will be given by Grant Hunter, while the closing prayer will be by Mrs. Anderson. Vocal solos will be given by Myles Walker and Mrs. Ruth C. Urie, with a piano selection by Mrs. Blaine Johnson. |
