Show Plans Announced for Five-Stake Sunday School Conference in Parowan February 27 A five Stake Sunday -School Conference will be held in Paro-1 wan, Sunday, February 27, according ac-cording to Lor an Hirschf, Cedar Stake Sunday School Superintendent. Superin-tendent. The five stakes planning to attend at-tend the convention are Beaver, Cedar, Parowan, St. George and Zion Park. Five members of the General Sunday School Board in Salt Lake City will attend the convention, with W. Lowell Cas-tleton, Cas-tleton, ctialrman. The other members mem-bers are Wm. E. Berrett, A. LeRoy Bishop, Carl F. Eyring and Hazel F. Young. W. H. Manning, professor of music at the Branch Agricultural college will be in charge of all choristers and organists of the various stakes. Two sessions will be held at the Parowan high school, one at 10 a. m., the other at 2 p. m. The morning session will last until noon and the groups requested to attend are: stake presidency, stake high councilmon assigned to the Sunday School; ward bishoprics, bish-oprics, Stake Sunday School sup-crintendency sup-crintendency and board; ward superintendent and one assistant from each ward, and general board representatives. In the afternoon session which lasts until 4, all the morning groups are requested to attend along with all ward Sunday School officers and teachers. This group is absent in the morning because of Sunday Schol classes. All others who are Interested are Invited to attend the afternoon after-noon session. |
