Show Western Air Lines Hushing Preparations For Local Service Preparations for the beginning of regular passenger and airmail service ser-vice in Cedar City by the Western Airlines, is going forward rapidly, according to Vern Willis, Traffic Manager in Nevada and Utah, who vi.ited Cedar City Monday. A crew of men, working under the direction of Al Haas of Salt Laic, City, is busy installing radio equipment at the municipal airport, air-port, and will also install telephone., and teletypes for use by the co. In addition an office will be located lo-cated on Main street, probably in the Southern Utah Power company lobby, Mr. Willis states. Three local lo-cal men will be employed by tin airlines, and will spend some tim in Salt Lake City in the near future fu-ture receiving special training fo' their particular assignments. It is expected that regular service ser-vice will be started here not later than July 15U.
