Show Just Common Sense Thinking farmers, and the responsible re-sponsible organizations, are not fighting reasonable limitations on farm prices. Wlmt they do point out is that equitable farm price controls are impossible without control con-trol of labor and other operating costs. Farmers must pay two or three times as much for labor as they used to and even then competent workers are difficult to obtain. Under Un-der these conditions, the Increases in farm prices have been more than otfset, in most instances, by the Increase in overhead costs. If we are to limit farm prices, in brief, the costs or farm operation must also be limited. That is only fair and it Is only common sense. |
