Show Summit The Summit Ward gave a party and shower for Mr. and Mrs. Albert Al-bert Dalley who were married during dur-ing the holidays Mr. Dalley left Tuesday, January 13, to Join the United States army. S. W. Peterson left Saturday for Nevada with Frank Thorley where he has employment. Mrs. Melba Spendlove and daughter daught-er returned home to Boulder City, Nevada last weekend after visiting with her moher, Mrs. Margaret Allen. Al-len. 1'he seminary class held an en-jjoyable, en-jjoyable, party at the home of Miss Dorothy Hulet Saturday evening. A large number of people attended at-tended the ward conference Sunday. President David L. Sargent, Oscar J. Hulet, Edward Parry and E. M. Corry were the guest speakers Several Sev-eral officers of the ward were released re-leased and others sustained In their places. Mr. and Mrs. Herbert White, Sr. ore back home after spending some time in Cedar City visiting with their children. The Mutual Improvement Association Asso-ciation gave a party Tuesday evening. even-ing. The proceeds will be used to carry on their activities. Mrs. Blllle Davenport Is staying with her son Jay and his wife. A baby girl was born to Mr. and Mrs. Davenport on January 3. Nelson and Joseph B. Dalley have gone to St. George to spend some time working In the L. D. S. temple. Otto P. Dalley drove them down In his car. , Mrs. Susanna Hulet Is confined to her home with a bad back. Ray Farnow and Boyd Walker made a business trip to Nevada last week. Mrs. Monte Benson and new baby daughter were released from the Iron County hospital Sunday. The baby was born on December 29. Mrs. Graham Duncan MacDonald of Kanab Is critically ill in the Iron County hospital. She Is if ported port-ed to be suffering from septicemia |
