Show 1 Restrictions Placed On Sale Of Liquor To Armed Forces A new regulation restricting sales of alcoholic beverages to soldiers and army officers, which became effective Monday, has been filed with the secretary of state by the Utah Liquor Control commission. The rule, placed In effect at the request of officials of the Fourth Army headquarters In San Francisco, Francis-co, permits sales to men In army uniform between the hours of 6 p. m. and 10 p. m. only. All managers of the 20 liquor stores and 70 package agencies throughout Utah were notified of the new regulation last week, it was announced. |
