Show Iron County Turkey Production Shows Increase This Year According to present indications there will be approximately 75,000 turkeys produced In Iron County Uiis year. This represents nbcut a 30 percent increase over the number num-ber produced in the County last year. Three new brooder coops were built in the County this spring; one by Lane Austin of Beryl, one by Arthur Bryant and Sons of Cedar Ce-dar City and the third cne by J. M. Riiry and Bishop Ray Farrow, built at Summit. A number of turkey men are fill-Ins fill-Ins their brooder houses second, and some even a third time. The Turkey Processing Plant began operation again on Thursday of this week and will process approximately ap-proximately 35,000 breedr hens. |
