Show CEDAR BOYS QUALIFY FOR OFFICER TRAINING Word has been received from Fort Lewis, Washington, that Price Halght and Earl Furnlss, both members of Battery C, 204th. Field Artillery, have passed examinations for admittance to officer training schools. They have received orders or-ders to report at Fort Sill, Oklahoma, Okla-homa, on July 14th., and will leave Fort Lewis on July 8th. Price is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Halght and Earl is a son of Mr. Earl Furnlss, of Cedar City. They entered military service in March 1941 with Battery "F" of the 222nd. Field Artillery, the Cedar Ce-dar City unit of the Utah National Guard. |
