Show Rotarians Hold Special Meeting At Cedar Breaks The annual Installation meeting of the Cedar City Rotary Club was held at the Cedar Breaks Lodge Saturday night, with forty-five Rotarians Ro-tarians and Rotary Anns attending. An excellent meal was served after which the following officers were Installed: Rolce Nelson, president; Homer Jones, vice president; Paul Ward, treasurer; Robert Smith, secretary; sec-retary; Geo. A. Wood, Dr. L. V. Broadbent, and Reed Gardner directors. di-rectors. The speaker of the evening was Earl J. Glade of Salt Lake City, managelng director of the KSL Radio Corporation. Mr. Glade emphasized em-phasized the absence of appreciation apprecia-tion of our American privileges, . and expressed the hope that the war would arouse us to a realization realiza-tion of what we owe the cause of freedom. He expressed the opinion I that those who are now making the sacrifices in the war effort will have no regrets If America and A-mericans A-mericans can prove themselves worthy of those sacrifices. Dr. L. V. Broadbent acted as master of ceremonies. DancHig followed the dinner and program. |
