Pettigrew, a Pharmacist j of Wide Experience 1 1 Tho stock and fixtures of the Cedar City Drug Store, which have been tied up by legal complications com-plications for some time past, has been purchased by Mr. H. P. Pettigrew, late of Garfield, Utah, where he has had charge of the drug department of tho Garfield Trading company. Mr. Pettigrew is a brother to Senator R. F. Pettigrew of South Dakota. Da-kota. He is a graduate of the Philadelphia College of Par-macists, Par-macists, and is a chemist and manufacturing pharmacist. For some time ho had charge of a big laboratory for the manufacture man-ufacture of drugs in St. , Paul, Minn, His health breaking down, he came west and located for a time on a ranch in California. Cali-fornia. When his health was recuperated he returned i,to his profession, and followed the drug business in a number of Eastern and Western cities. It is hisMntention to manufacture the greater part of the chemicals entering into his prescription work right here on the ground, and fully warrants everything he compounds or manufactures to be as represented, and to comply with the pure 'food and drug act. Out of a class of 300 students, Mr. Pettigrow graduated with the highest per cents in materia medica and pharmacy. As to the policy to be pursued here, Mr. Pettigrew stated to a Record reporter that it would be his aim to give the people the81 very best and promptest servic possible.
