Show SCARTET FEVER AT KANARRAVILLE County Physician Leonard made a trip to Kanarraviile Wednesday to investigate some suspicious cases of -illness thought to be scarlet fever, from the history given of them. The sickness was at the home of Henry Pollock, and it was found upon investigation that he has three children suffering from the disease named. The patients are not exceptionally bad, but there is no question as to the identity of the disease. The family has been placed under quarantine, and the school house will be thoroughly fumigated, fumi-gated, after which the shcools will be permitted to resume. There is a great deal of sickness sick-ness in Kanarra, the Doctop reported re-ported upon his return, so far as could be learned these are the only cases of scarlet' fever. A little girl of David Davis was seriously ill with rheumatic fever, and a great many of tho people are suffering from severe colds and la grippe. ' The doctor reported tho roads in a frightful condition. It was found necessary notwithstand ing they had a large team and a light buggy, to get out and kick tho mud from between the spokes at frequent intervals on tho grade mid-way between Hamilton's Fort and Kanarra. |
