Show MOTION PICTURES j MAY BE MADE HERE R. D. Adams Has Letter Advising' That Company May Spend 5ummer Near Cedar. Mr. R. D. Adams has a letter from a resident of California who passed through this section over the Arrow head Trail and spent a night in Cedar City, lie was much impressed with views he saw here of local scenery and wihcs to obtain more photos of it. He is also in touch with one of the large motion picture companies Operating at or near Palo Alto, and has so far interested the management in the scenery of southern Utah that he has determined to bring his troupe "f forty or fifty people here for about three months to produce an elaborate serial entitled "Utah." Cedar City being the gate way and headquarters for the many choice scenic attractions of this part of Utah, including Zion Park, Cedar Hreaks, Cedar Canyon and Mountain, and Bryce Canyon, is admirably situated and suited for this' purpose, and the advertising that will j result from the production of motion ' picture films here will be a strong factor in sending an endless stream of tourists to our doors, besides insuring the presence here of at least one motion mo-tion picture company each summer. The matter should receive the hearty endorsement and encouragement of the Commercial club and other organizations. |
