Show THE B. A. C. TEAM DEFEA1SMURD0CK By a Score of 19 to 15 The Local Team Gets Another League Game. NOW TIED WITH DIXIE FOR CHAMPIONSHIP Coach Gourlcy of the Dixlo Takes Advantage if Technicality Refuses Final. The fact that The Record is a few 'hours late enables us to report the results of the league game of basket ball, which has just been-played between the B. A G. team and the quintet of the Murdock, at the gymnasium of tho latter school. The game resulted in a victory for the B. A. C. by a score of 19 to 15. This would seem to indicate that the game was a close one, and that neither team had much to give the other. Result of the Game. The result of the game is to tie tho local team with the Dix-r ie for first place in the Southern South-ern league, and the privilege of participating in the State league games. According to the original or-iginal itinerary the B. A. C. was to have played a return gnme at St. George with the Dixie on the 6th of the present month, but owing to the excursion arranged ar-ranged to tho northern part of the state a request was made to Coach Gourley of the. Dixi3 to have the game postponed t'o'a later date. Mr. Gourley replied tmtfyie thoukhtthia cold,ib. iBJ.1 tHiMtthiSmrtf-mMkmi. game'mtist be' played acSttrVMP to the original schedule, 01 the championship would be claimed by his school. As it was then impossible to cancel the engagements engage-ments with the northern teams, the question will be referred to the neutral man for this division, divis-ion, who will decide whether the credit for this game that was not played for the above reasons rea-sons has been forfeited to the Dixie team or not. Results of Northern Games. During the tour of the north the B. A. C. boys have played four games, winning two and losing an equal number. The game scheduled for the Millard Academy was not played, and instead of playing the U. A. C. second team as was planned for, their first team was engaged, which accounts for the heavy score in favor of that school.
