Show AGRICULTURAL COLLEGE REPRESENTATIVE HERE Robert Evans, state leader in farm" management, field studies and demonstrations, of the Agricultural Agri-cultural college arrived in the city the early part of the week to look after the interests of the local branch. Mr. Evans is in charge of the extension work of the school, andialso represents repre-sents the bureau of plant industry indus-try of the United States Department Depart-ment of Argiculture.f He was accompanied by Mr. David Sharp, Jr., a graduate of the Agricultural college, who has been assigned lo work in connection with the local school. The two have been touring the country, interviewing farmers and getting in toucfi with soil and other conditions.! Mr. Sharp will do personal work with the farmers during the aimmer. assisting as-sisting in the schooltduring the winter. Mr. Wrigley, who has been the instrutor iivthe agricultural agricul-tural branches taught in the Branch Normal, has been retained re-tained to do the same class of extensipn work among the farmers, farm-ers, and he and Mr. Sharp will be out until the opening of the school term. : |
