For this action ho was condomned to death Fobruary 20, 1908, by a court-martial. court-martial. TIiIb sentence, howovor, was commuted by Emperor Nicholas to ten years' imprisonment. Ho was released re-leased from confinement from tho fortress for-tress of St. Potor and St. Paul tho following fol-lowing year by order of Kmporor Nicholas.
