$350,000 FOR NEW HOSPITAL American Legion of Texas Actively Behind Plan for Care of Men Who Have Tuberculosis. Tho American Legion of Texns is now actively behind the campaign to raise $350,000 for a hospital for tuberculous tuber-culous ex-service men. At a recent meeting of the Benevolent War RlsV society of Texas the directorate whs Increased from 15 to 45, the 30 new directors being tho membership of the stato Legion executive committee and live members of the central hospital committee at Austin. This marks the turning over of active ac-tive control of the campaign to the Legion. Some $200,000 still remain-to remain-to be raised, but tho first unit of 10e beds of the proposed hospital Is al most ready for occupancy.
