The old colonial fancy steps and beautiful folk dances, such as demanded grace and ease and skill, have been gradually replaced re-placed by tho modern two-step and walU which demand very little grace, case, orskillandare, therefore, easy to learn. One important purpose of the Brig-ham Brig-ham Young University play hour is to revive these old colonial dances our grandfathers and grandmothers danced, and to use them for their gymnastic and aesthetic value. |
