Show Stock Market Report. Kansas City Stock Yards, Nov. 3, 1911. Cattle received here this week 63,100, last week 84,400, same week last year 79,400. The drop in receipts this week was effective at all the markets, and prices received an - uplift all around, ranging from 25 to 60 cents at Kansas City, above the close of last week. Packers are very anxious for choice cattle of big weight, but that kind is extremely scarce. Prime steers would bring nine dollars here without trouble, but nothing got above $8.45 this week, because of absence of quality. Kansas pastures have sent in about the last of their season's crop, and for some weeks ahead the bulk of the supply will come from the range country. Quarantine supplies are small this week, and that territory is omptied out for the present. Until fed cattle start freely, the range offerings will have practi--- t-r---- - " cally a clear field. A large number num-ber of Colorado cattle have been here this week, and they have sold 25 to 50 cents higher than last week. Two trains from Placerville, Colorado, sold yesterday yester-day and today to killers at $5.25 to $5.40, weighing abound 1000 pounds. Sheep this week 47,700, last week 78,300, same week last year -53,500. The market began to advance first of the week, and is 25 to 35 higher for the week, though not fully tested at any time, because of lack of quality in the offerings. Best lambs would bring upwards of $6.00, yearlings worth $4.00 to $4.75, wethers up to $3.75, ewes $3.53 feeding lambs around $4.80, i stock and Creeling ewes at $2.00 i' tdt $3.75. Receipts this week J C" iave changed from being distinct ori the range order, to more . native stock, a tendency that, will be more strongly marked . each week till the first of the I r year. ; ' v J.
