Tho special speakers wcro "Uncle" Ben 1 Eldridgo of tho U. A. C. Extension forco and Chris Johnson of tho Wcst- em Dairy Division of tho U. S. Department De-partment of Agriculture. Other speakers were County Agent Esplin i and VD. L. Sargent of tho Agriculture Department of tho B. A. C. ) David Sharp, Jr., of Parowan, dis- ' cussed "Pork Productibn", Thursdny : morning, in a manner mndo possiblo only by a thorough knowledgo of this subject His talk followed a discus sion of Dairy Buildings, by J. II, Pendleton, of tho B. A. C. faculty, which was warmly received by tho dairy farmers. The Department of Music of tho B. , A. C. added materially to tho gcnoral ! interest of tho evening programs by furnishing special music On Mon- day evening tho school band, directed by Mr. West, played two selections i which wero greatly appreciated. Tho orchestra on Tuesday evening mado an espcciallyifavorablo impression nnd wcro roundly applauded, wh'ih) calls wero mado from the audicuccT for a violin solo by tho director, Mr. West. I Wednesday n'cht was "B, A. C. night nnd tho Chorus, under the direction di-rection of Mr, McCarty, clearly won its audience, which was larger than that-of any other evening. Besides the Chorus, there wero numbers by representatives re-presentatives of tho different student clubs. It wns at this session that Dr. M. J. Macfarlane gnvo a timely and instructivo talk on "Clean Milk and Health", nnd Director Cardon presented present-ed briefly his plan of future development devel-opment for the Branch Agrcultural College. The scheduled Thursday even,ng program was rearranged to accomodate accomo-date tho postponed B. A, C.Dixio basketball game. To day is poultry day at the B. A. I C, and the scheduled speakers are D. : L. Sargent and J. H. Pendleton of the ' B. A. C. faculty, and" H. Grant Ivins of Enterprise, who is doing unusually good work i,n building up a farm flock I of White Leghorns on the Ivins ranch.
