Show 'The Passing of David Uric." 1 In the passing of our friend 'and brother, David, tho com-Jmunity com-Jmunity has sustained a great loss. Ho was a man of unassuming, unassum-ing, gontlo and sunny disposition, disposi-tion, with a big heart and a groat lovo for humanity, but without any desire for public distinction dis-tinction or approval. Possessing- a keen sense of humor and being extremely witty ho was always welcomed in whatever society he liappened to appear. Tho poor and neodv wore always subjects of his kindest consideration, and lie would give his last nickel to one, in distress, and go without him-' self if necessary. He has loft a very talented and respected family, who, with his devoted wife, are heart broken , over their loss. We shall miss him more than it is possible to express, but must bow to the decree of Him who docth all things well. Long ere this he will no doubt have received the plaudit, "Well done" from our Lord and Master who said -"Inasmuch is ye have done it unto the least of these, ye have done it unto me." May his rest be beautiful and sweet. LAURA W. JENSEN, ADA W. WEBSTER. |
