Show A CHANGE FOR EVERY VOTER Without doubt every voter will bo able to find a party this fall that will represent his views on what should bo done for the poor, suffering public of this down-trodden land of "ours". So many an varied, logical and illogical, il-logical, practical and absurd policies are represented in the various platforms that the voter, no matter how conservative, progressive pro-gressive or radical he may be, should find his ideas of a political politi-cal party. Wo were much impressed with the view taken by tho Kane County News, and deem its comment com-ment on the sitution worthy of reproducion. Tho News says: "Now that Roosevelt is a candidate, can-didate, thoro i'b a place for every sort of voter that may be imagined. imagin-ed. Republicans will stand by Taft; Domocrats will flock to Wilson ; Socialits will remain with Dobs, and tho disgruntled from all these will find a welcome under tho red bandana of the now Progressive Party, with Roosovelt as tho leader. This will be a poor year for "mugwumps," "mug-wumps," no excuse for thoir oxistance. There will be plenty of room and a comfortable seat for everybody on the respective political vehicles that will bo glad to take on passengers between now and November." |
