T H ,'- Saturday afternoon the people W7 H of this city were shocked to'rc-Wj H ceivc news of an accident which''. H happened that morning at 9 o'clock, '? H on the Cedar mountains at the"1"''" H head of Three Creeks, about thirty H miles from Cedar City, when John Lunt was so severely injured that H he succumbed Sunday morning. H John and his wife were out on H a fishing and business trip in the H mountains and were driving to Three Creeks, where .they intended to make camp, when the accident H occurred. Mr. Lunt was driving a M four-horse team, when suddenly H they ran into a deep washout M which threw the horses off their M balance and pitched John and his M wife from the scat to the ground. , Mr. Lunt held to the lines and was bH drawn under the rear wheel, which ' was locked, and was dragged a fH short distance and badly crushed. He was hurt internally and lost H considerable blood, which welled 'H from his mouth at every breath. M The injured man's wife took one M of the horses and altho badly H bruised and with a broken rib, rode for a considerable distance for 'H water, meeting a sheep herder who,, assisted her.
