Show u KNIGHTS OF COLUMBUS. The local Council, Knights of Columbus, Co-lumbus, has received an impetus that will soon place it in the foremost divisions di-visions of the Councils in this western west-ern coutnry. About June 10 a Council Coun-cil will be instituted at Ogden, with about fifty members. About the same time a class of thirty will receive the Third degree here in Salt Lake. The degrees wil be performed by the local lo-cal Council, assisted by the Denver Council. George Jay Gibson, Grand Knight of the Salt Lake Council, left last week for Denver and the east. He will attend at-tend the national convention at New Haven, Conn., next week. It is possible pos-sible that Mr. Gibson will be accompanied accom-panied on' his return hy some of .the officers of the Montana, Washington, and California Councils. These gentlemen gen-tlemen will assist the degree work, which wil be given here and in Ogden. The first, second and third degrees will be conferred on thirty mebers of the Salt Lake Council, and on the new Council at Ogden some time about the last of June. |
