Show HIGH HONORS TO A NOBLE WOMAN. WO-MAN. (Salt Lake Telegram.) " The fact that Indianaians appreciate a good woman has been demonstrated in the case of Mother Superior Lucre-tia, Lucre-tia, .formerly of Holy Cross hospital in this city, who died recently in Notre Dame, Ind., and who was interred last Thursday. It is seldom that a woman receives in death the honors which Indianaians paid Sister Lucretia. And she deserved tne many tributes to her lovely character. Her whole life was given to others. Lucre tia was known as Anna Fuller, and her father was Judge Esbon Fuller of Cold Water, Mich., one of the most prominent members of the Michigan bar. She received her education at St. Mary's, in Notre Dame, and was among its earliest alumnae, graduating graduat-ing with high honors in the class of '65. She decided to become a sister, and returned to St. Mary's as a novice, and in time took the habit. After she became a sister, until the time of her death, Mother Lucretia labored constantly con-stantly in the interests of the order of the Sisters of the Holy Cross, and her wonderful business tact and engaging en-gaging disposition singled her out as a leader. She was, chosen to the position po-sition of directress of the academy of St. Mary's, and filled this important oflSce for years. She also filled many important positions in the order, and was Mother Superior of St. Mary's academy at Salt Lake City, Utah, at the time of her death. As an educator edu-cator she showed unusual ability. The influence of her life was marked among those who labored with her, and the Sisters of the Holy Cross have suffered a lasting loss in her death. Mother Superior Lucretia was a noble woman.
