Show PARK CITY. Mr. Phil Sullivan is here from Eureka, Eu-reka, shaking hands with old oc-quaintances. oc-quaintances. S Mr. Tim Downey of Eureka arrived here Sunday, and intends making this camp hie future home. Mr. Hugh Kilkenny spent a few days here last week. Mr. Bartley McDonough enjoyed a much needed rest in Salt Lake for a few days early in the week. ? Mr. William Donovan, a popular young man of Park, has gone to Denver Den-ver as a delegate to the A. O. H. convention, con-vention, to be held there during the week. Timothy Keefe, as representative representa-tive from division No. 1, A. O. H., and Mrs. Annie Corrigan of the Ladies' Auxiliary have also gone, to be present pres-ent at the convention. John J. Daly and daughters came up Thursday and spent the day picking flowers up about the Anchor shaft. ! ' Thomas, the 2-year-oid son of Mrs. A. A. McBride, who is visiting he parents here. Mr. and Mrs. Thomas O'Keefe, fell Sunday and broke his arm at the wrist. Dr. Donoher attended to the injuries, and the child is getting along as well as can be expected. Charles F. Keith came out from Salt Lake this morning on a brief business trip, returning home on the afternoon train. Dominic DignaiTwas visiting friends in the Park a few days this week. Harold Lamlj came up with others Thursday on his way to Brighton for an outing. . Mrs. J. T. Harris of Salt Lake came up Tuesday for a three weeks' ; visit with Mrs.-G. W. Lamb. - At the old Hanauer tunnel, Dan Sul- livan is directing work for the Kearns-Keith Kearns-Keith company, cleaning out, timbering timber-ing and repairing the tunnel. Operations Opera-tions are now confined to cleaning out one of the old drifts some distance in from the mouth. Two men are worked on the morning, two on the afternoon and four, on the day shift. A large volume of water is now issuing from the tunnel. ( J I Isabel McLaughlin gave a delightful I Picnic' party to a large number of her , little friends Wednesday. The scene of gaiety was at Snyder's grove, transfers trans-fers for the little folks having been provided by the young hostess. A gay time they had of it, romping, playing and sporting about. The refreshments provided by Miss Isabel were in keeping keep-ing with the rest of the arrangements, and a perfect day resulted. The party was chaperoned bv Mrs. W." C. Wal- lace, Mrs. Frank Bird, Mrs. G. E. Gushing, Gush-ing, Miss Laura Bird and Miss Beatrice McDonald of Salt Lake. The guests were: Ada and Clara Kimball, Morris Davis, Gordon McPherson, Josephine McCarty, Frank and Henrietta Bird, Eddie and Edith Evans,, Gene Thiriot, Gertrude, Irma and Irvin Evans, Tenie Rasband, Jack and Leah Townsend, Dick and Crescent Smith, Grace, Edna, Helen and Reginald Wallace, Fraser and John Buck, Tessie and Gertie McLaughlin, Mc-Laughlin, Frances and Bob Shields, Miriam and LaPage Raddon, Ira Diem Frank Hurlbut, David Geiger, Wade and Storm Piatt, Cyril Fairhurst, Dot Simon, Miriam Hubbard, Sherman Armstrong, Roy, James, Bessie and Ruby Cushing, Georgie Frankel, Gladys Gla-dys Hedges, Otto and Byron- Pape, Grace, Merle, Irwin and Myron Stringer, String-er, Bertie and Lillie Beattie, Rhea and Enid Riley, Rose and Clarence Goist, Gay Newcomb. 3 Miss Maud Parker has gone to the city to spend a week. Miss Julia Byrne left Tuesday for Kemmerer, Wyo., on a visit to her sister, sis-ter, Mrs. Henry Morrow. Miss Mary Byrne accompanied her as far as Salt Lake, and then returned to the Park. Mrs. Leslie Conxion" and babv of Arizona Ari-zona spent Friday and Saturday in the Park, visiting with her sister, Mrs. F. A. McCarty. |
