Show RAWLINS, WYO. L. G. Davis came down from Saratoga Sara-toga the first of Jheweek. Mrs. J. O. Quinn and children Jeft Wednesday for Peoria, Ills. J. W. Connor of Laramie was in the city on business yesterday. Charles E. Smiley returned from Chicago, Chi-cago, where he went with a shipment of sheep. -S- Mrs. William Myers, wh jse serious illness was reported last week, died at Casper, Monday. - Rawlins, Wyo., Dec. 18. It is understood under-stood here that the contract for the construction con-struction of the North American Copper Cop-per company railroad from Fort Steele to Encampment was let yesterday to eastern contractors. The road will be fifty miles long, will cost $1,000,000 and I will have an eventual extension of j eighteen miles to the big coal field i owned by the copper company in the immediate vicinity of the new town of Dillon. The road is expected to enter I Encampment by July 4 next. |
