Show ANACONDA, MONT.' Miss Nellie Murphy, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. P. Y. Murphy, residing at 1006 East Third street, died at St. Ann's hospital, the contributing cause being a weak heart. Miss Murphy has been suffering from an illness which had been : diagnosed as gastritis for some time. The funeral, took place Sunday afternoon aft-ernoon and services were held at St. Peter's church. Miss Murphy was a beautiful character, char-acter, patient in her many months of suffering, a friend of a wide circle of acquaintances who will deeply mourn her loss. Two years ago she went abroad, traveling extensively in Ireland Ire-land and elsewhere for her health, and only returned the past summer, but temporarily benefited. Her parents are grief -stricken over the irreparable loss and have, the sympathy of all in their bereavement. . . . v- John Sexton, one of the oldest- and best known citizens of Anaconda, died at St. Ann's hospital from heart failure, fail-ure, induced by a severe attack of asthma. Mr. Sexton had been a patient at the hospital since the middle of the past summer, with the exception of three or four days that he attempted to resume his employment and from which he was. compelled to desist and return to the hospital. Two years ago h sought Telief ina'trip to California, but returned-, again :to"; the . city still suffering from his affliction.- . . Mr. Sexton came to Anaconda eighteen eigh-teen or nineteen years ago, presumably at the instance of the late Marcus Daly. The two. it is said, were fellow, travelers trav-elers from New- York to California by way of the isthmus, at the time that Mr. Daly first went to that state. They worked together both in California and later in the mines of Nevada, and a warm friendship sprang up between them which lasted until Mr. Daly's demise de-mise two years ago.
