She comes directly from Denver, Colo., and is considered one of The best educators among the Sisters of Charity, of which religie-us order she is :. member. The present superioress. Mother L'milda. takes charge of the Sacred Heart school in East Park street. Other changes of minor importance j have ben made among the teachers of j St. Patrick's school: some of the sls-: sls-: trs have been transferred to other 1 places and new ones have taken their j pla es. I The whole building has been reno-j reno-j rated, painters and paperhangers so ! completely changing the interior as to I make it seem entirely new. Single j desks are amontr the new things added in the class rooms, special apparatus for the higher grades in science is also one of the innovations. The sanitation of the building has been changed, everything now having been brought up to date. The sisters look forward to a successful suc-cessful school year, with a much larger attendance even than last year, which was among the banner years of the school. At Sacred Heart school work will begin be-gin on Monday. Sept. 14. Preparations have been completed for teaching the children of all the grades except the first, or primary. The grades to be taught are from the second to the eighth, inclusive. Work for the year will also soon be resumed at Saint Joseph's school in Walkerville. All three parochial schools -look forward to a most successful suc-cessful year. f Jud?e Clancy admitted to probate the wil, of the late Rev. Father Honore B. j Allaeys, who died in this city on Aug. 7. The estate left by Father Allaevn amounts to about $5.00. It is divided j into two insurance policies, one for 5.5.000 and one for $2,000: mining stock ! worth $200; a promissory note for $500, j a library worth $."0, $25 in cash and seme other miscellaneous personal pi operty. The will was probated upon the petition peti-tion of Rev. Father Peter De Siere, who was named as the executor of the will without bonds in that instrument. Father Fa-ther De Siere took the stand and gave testimony, after which the order of probate was issued. The legatees and devisees of the w ill are Leonia Allaeys, a sister of the testator; tes-tator; Bishop Brondell and the superior su-perior of the St. Joseph's Orphan's home at Helena. The heirs so far as known by the petitioner pe-titioner are brothers and sisters and the sons and daughters nf a too brother, residing in Belgium and France. The witnesses to the will were ."Rev. Father Victor Day and M. O. D. Barry. The testator was 44 years old when lie died, and of sound and disposing mind, and memory according to the petition. C. E. Meagher and family of Deer Iodge are now residents of this city, their new home being in South Dakota street. Mr. and Mrs. .Tames H. Lvnch have sone on a visit to old friends in Dead- wood. S. D.
