Show u WEDDING BELLS. McEntee-Sullivan. A wedding that was charming in simplicity as it was perfect in detail, was that of Miss Ellen Rose McEntee and Mr. Henry Laurence Sullivan, which occurred at St. Mary's cathedral last Wednesday afternoon. Rev. Father Guinan of All Hallows' College performed the ceremony, Mr. Sullivan being a former student of the college. Only the immediate relatives of the young couple witnessed the ceremony at the cathedral. Promptly at 4 o'clock the organist 1 played the Bridal Chorus from Lohengrin, Lohen-grin, after which Miss Owen of the Cathedral choir sang a bridal hymn by Rossi. The Mendelssohn march was played after the ceremony. The bride is the eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John McEntee of this city. She is a charming accomplished girl, possessing all the attractive qualities qual-ities of mind and heart, combined with a beautiful face." She wore an exquisite exqui-site gown of cream crepe du chine, made over taffeta silk, and carried a shower bouquet of bride roses. Miss Agnes McEntee made a sweetly sweet-ly pretty bridesmaid, wearing a dainty gown of pink organdy with lace applique, ap-plique, and carrying pink carnations. Mr. Thomas Guinon of this city was "best man." Mr. Sullivan is the son of Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Sullivan of Laramie, and has hosts of friends to congratulate him on his marriage. The home of Mr. and Mrs. McEntee was transformed into a garden of June roses and palms, where an elaborate elab-orate banquet was served at 5:30. Many beautiful gifts were presented to the young couple, and one that was highly prized was a letter to the bride from the parish priest, who had known her from childhood Bishop-elect Reilley of Portland. - - Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan left Wednesday Wednes-day night for a wedding trip to Portland. Port-land. . The Intermountain Catholic joins with a host of friends in extending extend-ing all good wishes to Mr. Sullivan and his winsome bride. Those present at the weding were Mr. and Mrs. D. E. Sullivan of Laramie, Lara-mie, parents of the groom, their daughters, the Misses Mary, Frances and Annie Sullivan, their son, Daniel Sullivan, Rev. Father Guinan, Francis and Edward McEntee, J. Kellett, Mrs. P. Buller and family and Miss Nora Gleason. Hyde-Phelan. Miss Annie Hyde and Michael Phe-lan Phe-lan were married on Tuesday afternoon after-noon by Rev. Father Curran at St. Mary's cathedral. Mr. Phelan and his charming bride have hosts of friends, who extend congratulations and good wishes. |
