Flynn has gone to Central Cen-tral to spend a few days with her mother. v The Misses Jennie, May and Margaret Gillis have resumed housekeeping at their old home on Pennsylvania avenue. Mrs. Cavanaugh of 1327 Arapahoe street, widow of Thomas Cavanaugh, a pioneer of Denver, has been seriously ill for a week, and but little hope is entertained en-tertained for her recovery. Mrs. DuBois, accompanied by the Misses O'Neil of Birmingham, Ala., is spending a few days at Lyons. Dennis W. Mullen and family will soon leave West Denver and move into the cathedral parish. They- magnificent home on Emerson street and Ninth avenue is rapidly neartng completion. The residence of Dr. R. J. Forham at 858 Lincoln avenue narrowly escaped destruction by fire, one day last week. Only the presence of mind of Mrs. Forham For-ham and the timely arrival of the fire department saved the property, which, however, suffered a loss of about $500. |
