Show j ROOK SPRINGS. WYO. Mrs. Dennis Murphy and little daughter, daugh-ter, Nora, are spending the week In Salt Lake City. After many months of suffering, Mrs. Elmer Timberlake died last week at the Wyoming general hospital. Mrs. Timberlake was better known in Rock Springs as "Susie Brown," having been born in this city thirty-two years ago, her parents being among the earli st settlers. She had passed nearly all her life here, and leaves a large circle tf friends to mourn her untimely death. She is survived by a husband, two small children, one sister an-1 one brother, and her mother, Mrs. Anna Brown. All have the sympathy of the entire community, especially the mother, moth-er, whose declining years are thus saddened, sad-dened, and the little children, who are so early bereft of a mother's care. The Catholics of Rock Springs and Cheyenne are contesting for a beautiful solid gold chalice, which will be donated do-nated to the city getting the greatest number of votes. Rev. T. J. p.arrett has charge of the matter here, and the young people are working hard and report that they are very much encour- aged as to their success. The vote nre I' 10 cents each, and everyone who has f been approached regarding the matter has helped substantially. The tha'ice has been offered-by B,hop Ke !
