Show THE ORPHANAGE CONCERT. Special Programme of Attractive Features. Readers of The Intermountain Catholic Cath-olic and the daily papers are already aware of the grand concert that will be given at the Salt Lake theatre on Saturday, March 18. One hundred children and young girls will appear, assisted by Miss Mc- j Cue, soperano: the Utah Ladies' quartette; quar-tette; Mrs. Edward McGurrin and Miss Margery Mulvey, harpists; Professor Pro-fessor Anton Pedersen; Charles Kent, baritone: the St. Cecelia chorus; Ber-nadine Ber-nadine Feeney. song and dance artist; All Hallows' College band; Edward Fitzpatrick. Morris Andrews. George Klink, violinists; Sybil Geary and Frank Dwight, dance artists. The concert will be under the direction direc-tion of Miss Nora Gleason. The talented tal-ented young girls and children of the cathedral are always entertaining, and this year they will give an excellent programme. The professional talent is, of course, the very best in the city. Prices of admission vary for different parts of the house. The use of the theatre has been donated, as usual, through the genial manager, George Pyper. Tickets for the concert are now on sale. Only one appeal each year is made to the public for assistance, and in behalf be-half of the little children it is hoped that great success will attend the concert con-cert this year. The programme will be a treat, some of the best local talent appearing. The management of the concert is in the hands of some of the most prominent prom-inent gentlemen of the city, who are C. C. Goodwin. Simon Bamberger, F. E. McGurrin, William Igleheart, H. G. Whitney, W. P. O'Meara and J. C. Lynch. |
