Brother Bro-ther Lynch had attained to a very ripe old age. The death of Mrs. Kelly. Killina, Kinwara, mother of the Rev. J. Connolly, Con-nolly, -the respected Killanin, Madame Maura, sister of the Holy Union Order at Taunton, Mass., America, and also of late Madame Mary Catherine, of the same order at Banagher, occurred on Feb. 2. after a brief illness. The funeral fun-eral was the largest seen in the parish par-ish for a long time past. Something like 200 vehicles and 00 horsemen followed fol-lowed the hearss. The remains were interred at Mountcross cemetery. The burial service having been read by the Rev. F. Burke, assisted by Rev. Father Griffin. Father Corbett and Father Connolly. Special religious ceremonies were held in Carlow cn Sunday, Feb. 5, in honor of St. Bridgid, patron saint of the diocese of Kildare and Leighlin. ALL AROUND IRELAND. Mrs. Honoria Healy, Cletta, Bally-mote, Bally-mote, died Jan. 27, deeply regretted. The death of Bartholomew O'Connor, parish of Dromod, occurred Jan. 27. He was" one of the most active members in the Gaelic branch. During his time in Caherciveen he did a great deal in , teaching the Gaelic language. Mr. William Rooney died Jan. 29 at his home in Clonmore, between Rath-downey Rath-downey and Roscrea. Queens, at the extraordinary age of 103 years. He was confined to bed only three days before his death. The funeral to Errill cemetery ceme-tery was largely attended. Michael Murray, probably the oldest man in the Baronies of the Carbervs, died Feb. 1 at the great age of 105 years at Market square. Dunmanway. He was over six feet high and retained his faculties to the very last. The death of Mrs. Marv O'Riordan, daughter of the late James Woulfe, Liswowel, occurred lately in Tralee. Deceased, who some months ago returned re-turned from the United States, was ailing for a considerable time. We regret to announce the death of Daniel Tynan, which took place at Camross, Jan. 24, aged 82 years. The deceased was for many years a venerable vener-able figure in the parish of Camross. He was a mar of the old honest type, whose word was his bond and whose life was a model of what a Catholic should be in all his family and social relations. His memory was fresh on events so far back as the division of the parish of Tepperwood into the present parishes of Camross and Castledowh, which happened over sixty-rive years ago. In the parish church office and solemn requiem re-quiem high mass were chanted for the repose of the deceased's soul, at which several clergymen assisted. The funeral funer-al took place to the family burial ground at Augrim. and was one of the largest ever witnessed in this locality. The mournful procession was over a mile in length, and was representative of all classes and creeds. Miss Bridget McDrrmott, Castlerea, died, Jan. 24 at the home of Miss Margaret Mar-garet McDermott. Lessenanny. Castlerea, Castle-rea, at a fine age. On the' evening of the 25th her remains were conveyed to Fairymount chajel, accompanied by a large number of relatives and friends. On Thursday a solemn high mass was offered up for the repose of her soul, the following clergymen attending: Rev. Father Monaghan. Fairymount; Rev. Father Neary, Frenchpark: Rev. Father Fa-ther Grogan. Tibohine: Rev. Father Doorly, Lisacul, and Rev. Father eane, Lcughglynn. The death took place of a very old and respected resident of Ballintubbe" on Feb. 3 in the person of Mr. James Donlon. The deceased had attained the good old age of 90 years. His remains were eremoved to the parish church on Saturday morning, where mass was celebrated. The interment took jace on the same day in the family burial grounds. Ballintubber.
