Show PUEBLO, COLO. The new building for St. Mary's hospital hos-pital 'hss risen above the fmst floor and work is progressing s rapidly that new year is likely to-see the building complete. The plans are already developed devel-oped show an imposing structure, to cost not. less than $75,000. The- first floor is of cut. stone. The upper three floors will be of pressed brick trimmed with white stone. The style of the architecture is simple, agreeing ' in general with the old building, but is somewhat more ornate. The southern end. adjoins the old wing. The north-, ern end will face Quincy street.,. The building lies along a slope, making the northern front one story higher than the southern. The money for the structure struc-ture was furnished by the Sisters of Charity, who manage the hospital. It comes from the central treasury in Cn-cinnati. Cn-cinnati. Attorney McCorkle's residence in South Union avenue is approaching completion. It is one of the handsomest hand-somest along the avenue, in a vicinity full of fine houses. The exterior is of white brick, the height two and one-half one-half stories. The cost-is estimated at $8,000. . f The second .mesa; is fast filling up with first class houses.
