Show PARK CITY, The. social given by the ladies of the Altar society of St. Mary's Catholic church was largely attended and thoroughly thor-oughly enjoyed by all. Edward Dooney of Terre Haute, Ind., arrived in the Park Thursday morning to visit for a while with his uncle, Dan J. Gallivan. Mrs. T. J. Fanning is visiting in the Park with relatives. Mrs. Malvey of Eureka is in the Park for a few days. George Quinn came home Monday after a stay of four weeks near Gray, Ida. Mr. and Mrs. Stanley Osika returned Wednesday morning from Salt Lake after a pleasant visit. - F. J. Duggan, a relative' of our townsman Dan Galligan. arrived from Terre Haute, Ind., last Thursday, and may decide to locate in Park City. Mr. and Mrs. Frank Collins returned Wednesday morning from a brief visit in the metropolis. Miss Kate Sweeney left Wednesday for an extended visit in Ogden and Provo. A splendid type of sturdy young manhood Tohn J. Holland arrived in this city from Butte just ten days ago today. This afternoon his lifeless form will start on its return trip to that Montana city whence he came. Deceased De-ceased went to work at the King the day after arriving in this camp, and was at his usual labor on the 700 level of that mine yesterday, just after noon. when a large rock, which a previous blast had failed to dislodge, fell on him, crushing out his life in an instant. . companion working near him heard him scream, but life had left vhe body of the unfortunate man before he could be reached. Coroner Sperry and the undertaker went to tho mine . and brought the remains to town. An inquest in-quest jury, cons-sting of Jim Don, Eugene Eu-gene Sorenson and Ben Farrer, was appointed ap-pointed last night, reviewed ihe remains, re-mains, and will this evening visit the scene of the accident before returning a verdict. Deceased, was 24 years oid and unmarried. He has two cousins, J. U. Kelly and M. V. Murphy, in this city. Services over the remains were conducted by Rev.
