Show t f SOCIAL AND PERSONAL, f t Mrs. Sarah Wilson, mother of Mrs. Thomas Kearns. was taken very 111 on Friday afternoon, and for a time her life was despaired of. So serious was her condition that one of tho priests from the Cathedral administered the last sacraments. Just as the Inter-mountain Inter-mountain Catholic was going to press her condition was reported much improved, im-proved, which will be glad news to her many friends. Mr! and Mrs. Thomas Thom-as Kearns left Salt LaR a few weeks ago for a trip to Europe, Mrs. Wilson remaining with the Kearns children here. Mrs. Patrick Gibbons and Miss Gibbons Gib-bons will leave for California today for a month's visit. Mrs. Rose McDonougb and the family fam-ily are now located in Pheir new home and Fourth and C street. Mrs. M. Ryan returned last week from a visit to Topeka, Kan. She was accompanied by her grandson, Frank Wick, an interesting, bright young lad, who will attend school here. The many friends of Miss Mildred Cuddy will be pleased to hear that she is convalescing from a serious attack of diphtheria. The New York & Western Piano company will remove to No. 7 South Main, with Margetts' book store. Mr. and Mrs. E. C. Parsons are here again, after a few weeks in Denver, and are visiting Mrs. McChrystal. William Igleheart has returned after three weeks spent in Los Angeles and Riverside. Mrs. Igleheart returned from her European trip Tuesday evening, even-ing, and is now at home at 957 First avenue. Lieutenant Farrell of Fort Douglas entertained a party of friends Thursday Thurs-day night at the Salt Lake theatre. Mrs. Fred U. Leonard entertained the Sewing club at her home Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. A. W. McCune, jr., entertained a few friends at luncheon in her home Wednesday. Mrs. Frank Fafek. accompanied by her twin boys and her daughter Mary, leaves today for a month's stay in California. Mr. and Mrs. C. C. Slade and littla daughter Katherine leave for California Califor-nia today for a month's stay. The many friends of Mrs. D. A. Fitz-patrick Fitz-patrick will be glad to hear that she is convalescing from her recent serious illness.- ' Dr. W. K. Gleason, or Dr. "Bill." as he is affectionately called by hosts of devoted friends, is pronounced on the road to recovery after his serious attack at-tack of pneumonia. The doctor went very near the "pearly gates" during his illness, and all are happy over his recovery. |
