One of the priests of the Carmelite church, whose duty it is to attend the patients, was moving from bed to bed in one of the wards, when the sick man caught a glimpse of him and beckoned for him to approach. Later the priest, went to the bedside of the Chinaman, who received the sacraments and peacefully peace-fully passed away within ihe hour.
