Callahan and wife drove over from- Cumberland last AVedneSday to attend the funeral of their old friend, Buck Dolar. -4- The body of Buck Dolar was brought back to Kemmcre-r Wednesday morning morn-ing and buried the afternoon of the same day from the Methodist church. .The casket was covered with a profusion profu-sion of beautiful cut flowers. The tire- men. of which "Buck" was an old and ! honored member, turned out in a body and the largest procession--this town has ever known . followed the remains to the cemetery. All of the business houses in town were closed during the funeral out of respect to the memory of the deceased, and the city tlag was half masted. The following gentlemen acted as pall bearers: Mayor O'Conell, Charles Barker, P. J. Naylim F. D. P'agnanf. M. F. Naylin and R- A. Kee-nan Kee-nan of Rock Springs. "Buck" leaves an aged mother, three sisters, two brothers, a widow and one son, and a host of sorrowing friends lo mourn his untimely decease'. . "Buck," as he was familiarly called, was a progressive citizen, an honest man, and his heart was so big that there was not even room for a wrinkle in it. Many a needy one went to him for assistance and they were never refused. His death j a loss to the whole community. Camera. |
