Show j OBITUARY. The accidental death of Daniel Alex ander last Sunday evening was a shock j to the hosts of friends who respected the deceased for his many sterling qualities of mind and heart. Mr. Alexander Alex-ander was an old time resident of Ftah, having been engaged in business in Ogden and this city for over thirty years. His death is a terrible shock to his wife and children for a more devoted husband and kinder father never lived. Almost the last act of his life was to extend loving congratulations congrat-ulations to his wife on her birthday. To the bereaved family the sympathy of a legion of friends is extended. May the beautiful memory of such a de.ir husband and father comfort them in their hours of deepest sorrow. .-$ has entered the home of Mr. and Mrs. Peter Hendricks, taking away for?ver the two children of the household.' last week, Susie, the 8-year-old daughter, daugh-ter, died after a few days' illness, and last Tuesday the 3-months-old baby followed her. The mother is prostrat3l with grief, and to add to her misery she is alone, her husband having to go to Nebraska as a witness in a railroad suit last Friday, the day after the first child was buried. The eldest child was a winsome little girl and unusually bright for her age. She dearly loved the little baby and it would seem that death was not to separate them. The lh-imm-ii pamus nave much sorrow shed round them now. but thev should be comforted to know that their innocent inno-cent little ones are safe in the sunshine sun-shine of God's presence. May they as truly devout Catholics, bear their double sorrow with Christian resignation. |
